How to understand your prepayment...

To complete your prepayment, please follow the instructions.

5 minutes only are necessary to have a confirmed booking.

The prepayment requested is per person per booking:

1000 THB around the Full Moon party

5000 THB for the New Year period

1- From the drop down list in the top right choose the accommodation type you booked:

· VIP 15 BUNK MIX DORM

· 41 BUNK MIX DORM

· TWIN PRIVATE ENSUITE

· DOUBLE PRIVATE ENSUITE

· TRIPLE PRIVATE

If you have several accommodation type in your booking, you will be able to go back to the main page, just by clicking "Continue shopping" on the next page.

2- Insert booking reference if you booked with a platform as HOSTELWORLD or any other.

If you booked directly you can write your name.

3- Confirm your dates and the number of people

Format dd/mm to dd/mm/yy-X pax

4- Click add to cart

5- NOW, it is the most important moment:
You have to CHANGE the QUANTITY box to the amount of people in your booking.

Example – 5 People in booking means Quantity 5

6- Click on the CHECKOUT button.

7- Pay with your PAYPAL account or click on PAY WITH MY CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD.

8- That's it, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, as soon as PAYPAL will informed us about your prepayment (generally 24 hours to few days)

9-In the case the payment is not made by the person who booked, please let us know by sending a simple e-mail:

Dancing Elephant Policy

Dancing Elephant is currently working with several accommodations booking websites.

We accept reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that your payments are due on the dates indicated, regardless of your approval status at the booking website. If we don't receive your payment on time, we may cancel your reservation and you will forfeit your deposit paid on the booking website.

This is due to problems with late cancellations.

For a booking made less than 15 days before arrival, the payment is due as soon as you receive the welcome e-mail, to confirm the accommodation 100%.

Duration of stay:

Currently the minimum stay are:

- Dancing Elephant hostel, bed in dormitory 5 nights minimum if including Full Moon Party, and 7 during Christmas and New year.

- Any request to shorten your stay which is made after you have checked-in to the hostel will be treated as a no-show. Depending above mentioned no-show policy, unused nights may not be refunded.

Modification/changes to your previous booking:

If you wish to change the dates of stay, the duration of your stay and/or the number of guests please contact us directly by email.

The cancellation fees will be applied as written below if the request is not done on time.

Direct booking:

Once you have our e-mail address, you and your friends may book accommodation at Dancing Elephant directly. Just drop us a simple e-mail with the number of guests and the dates you'd like to stay and we will confirm availability as soon as we can.

Deposit paid to online booking web-sites:

For online bookings, the deposit paid to the online booking agent is completely non-refundable.

In the rare case that the accommodation that has been booked is not available, we will do our best to provide alternative accommodation of a similar or greater standard at the same price.

Confirmation:

When you book on line (via www.hostelworld.com for example), we will only give your booking a confirmed status once the payment have been received in our PAYPAL account.

We will issue a confirmation email as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Cancellations:

- We must be notified of all cancellations by e-mail.

Failure to do so will result in the loss of your prepayment. The date of the e-mail will be the proof of the cancellation's date.

- Any cancellation received between the 15th and the 7th days will be subject to cancellation fees equal to 25% of the prepayment. Fees to return the funds will be at the customers charge.

- Any cancellations received less than 7 day(s) before arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of total amount due (GROSS Price).

- Failure to arrive at Dancing Elephant hostel will be treated as a late cancellation.

This will incur 100% of total amount transferred.

Upon cancellation, the payment will be refunded to you your personal PAYPAL account within 5 working days.

As stated before the online booking deposit (paid to the booking service provider) is not refundable.

Non-show or non-cancellation:

In case of non-show the whole amount of the stay will be charged on your credit card.

We regrets that it cannot make exceptions to the reservation and cancellation policy for any reason, including personal emergencies. The reservation and cancellation policy applies to all reservations.

Once you have completed the payment, this means you have read and accepted our policy.
